KEOKUK — The Keokuk Concert Association will present the Culver-Stockton College Music Faculty at 3 p.m. Sunday at the Grand Theater in Keokuk.
The concert is the fourth and final of the 2013-2014 series.
The Culver-Stockton Music Faculty will interpret artistic expression at the turning points of time and culture, including works by Russian composer Dmitri Shostakovich and German composer, Paul Hindemith. The C-SC concert of music from the turn of times also will include solo and chamber works by other 20th century composers, as well as Schubert and Bach.
In addition to providing concerts throughout the area, the Culver-Stockton Music Faculty performs an annual music recital, where they share their outstanding talents with the local community and model professional performance practice for their students.
Addmission is $10 for a single adult and $5 for a single student tickets, as well as memberships for the 2014-2015 concert season, which will be available at the theatre prior to the performance.
Through a reciprocal agreement, those holding Keokuk concert season memberships, as well season memberships in the cities of Pekin and Quincy, Illinois; Hannibal, Missouri; Fairfield and Washington, Iowa will be admitted free of charge.
