Kilwinning Lodge, Fairfield 4-H Clover Kids
BATAVIA — The instillation of officers for Kilwinning Lodge No. 198 A.F. and A.M. will be at 2 p.m. Jan. 6.
Officers to be installed are: Ethan Eakins, worshipful master; Kenneth Everly, senior warden; Reginald Hughell, junior warden; Jerry Leazer, treasurer; Russell Gottman, secretary; Allan Augustine, chaplain; Lonny Manning, senior deacon; Charles Manning, junior deacon; John Hughell, senior steward; Jess Manley, junior steward; Jim Taylor, marshal; and John Brewington, tyler.
The installing worshipful master will be Frank Wilson. The installing marshal is Allan Augustine.
The public is invited.
FAIRFIELD 4-H CLOVER KIDS
The Jefferson County Fairfield 4-H Clover Kids met 5:15-6:15 p.m. Dec. 13 in the Jefferson County Fairgrounds Activity Building.
Twenty members made snowmen, snowflakes and created their own snow scene pictures by placing packing peanuts on colored paper. They also made bookmarks to give to friends or use themselves.
For community service, the group made Christmas cards for shut-ins. Members were asked to do a neat job coloring a holiday picture to be displayed.
Group games were played. Members talked about holiday plans.
They also made almond bark cracker treats to eat, with red punch to drink.
Helping with the evening activities were Karen Crossland, Phyllis Harris, Kelly Lacey, Eileen and Heather Pickard, John Sandbothe, Sherri and Sophia Mineart and Leland and Shirley Stanley.
The next meeting will be from 5:15-6:15 p.m. Jan. 10 at the Activity Building.
