Mount Pleasant pedestrian killed while lying on road
MOUNT PLEASANT – A Mount Pleasant man, Michael Mills, 42, has been identified as the victim in a fatal pedestrian/vehicle accident Monday night 1 mile south of Mount Pleasant on Oakland Mills road.
According to the Iowa State Patrol, Mills was lying partially on the traveled portion of the roadway when he was struck by a northbound 1998 Ford F-150 pickup, driven by Caleb Davis, 17, of Mount Pleasant.
