Plamadjala, Berkowitz wedding set Sunday
Natasha Plamadjala and Jesse Berkowitz, both of Fairfield, will be married at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Beth Shalom Synagogue in Fairfield.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Isai and Tatiana Plamadjala of Latvia. She has attended University of Iowa and Maharishi University of Management and is still a student.
The groom-elect is the son of Marc and Susan Berkowitz of Fairfield. He works at M.U.M. and is a Transcendental Meditation teacher.
Just prior to the wedding, the groom will sign a “ketubah,” the customary Jewish wedding contract, and present it to the bride during the ceremony.
The bride will be escorted to the altar by her cousin Yuri Nivickis.
The ceremony will be officiated by David Matt.
The marriage ceremony will take place under a “chuppah,” the traditional Jewish wedding canopy.
The couple plan to move to Los Angeles soon after their wedding.
