Police log August 22, 2014
The Fairfield Police Department reports the following calls and incidents logged at dispatch:
The pastor of First Baptist Church, 205 W. Broadway Ave., reported an attempted break in. He advised that the screens were removed from his office windows. However, the windows were locked from the inside, so the alleged thief was unable to enter the premises.
Earl Blair of Fairfield was arrested for conspiracy to deliver five grams of methamphetamine.
A citizen turned a brown wallet into the Fairfield Police Department that his son found on Monday. After an unsuccessful attempt was made at contacting the owner, the wallet was placed in lost and found.
A caller reported that his 50-count prescription narcotic was stolen from his vehicle. Officers filed a report.
A caller advised that her neighbor is telling her daughter to keep her dog off the sidewalk and road. Officers advised caller’s neighbor that the sidewalk is accessible to anyone.
The Jefferson County Health Center Emergency Room advised that a dog had bitten a patient.
A male caller requested officers be present while he retrieved his belongings from a female subject’s apartment. Officers remained on the scene while male subject removed his things.
