The following information is Fairfield Police Department’s initial contact summary received by dispatch for March 16-17, March 19, Thursday and Tuesday, provided at the Jefferson County Law Enforcement Center.
Jason Pease was arrested at Landmark Inn for public intoxication when police were called at 11:40 a.m. March 16 about someone destroying a room.
Donna Kraft was arrested at 7:12 p.m. Tuesday on a Wapello County warrant.
Citizen reported the theft of a US Cellular Galaxy Samsung cell phone, valued at $380 at 1:35 p.m. Thursday.
Washington County sheriff reported a stolen vehicle at 2:50 p.m. Tuesday: a black 1998 Dodge pickup truck stolen from B & B Automotive in Riverside sometime overnight; keys were left inside, amount of gas left in tank unknown.
Citizen reported at 3:30 p.m. Thursday a Medicom adapter and remote control, valued at $500, taken from residence.
Citizen contacted police about debit card fraud at 10:05 p.m. Thursday. Owner attempted to use debit card at gas station, declined. He checked balances with his bank; both checking and savings accounts were negative balances totaling $25,963. Police advised him to call phone number on back of card and notify his bank.
