Police report August 25, 2014
The Fairfield Police Department reports the following calls and incidents logged at dispatch:
A male caller advised he was hit in the jaw by an unknown male subject. The subject fled the scene wearing black shorts and a black shirt. Police were unable to locate the subject.
A caller reported his house was broken into and items are missing.
A caller reported he struck a compact car in front of the Fairfield Arts & Convention Center but forgot to leave a note with his contact information.
Ashley Schuchman was arrested on a Wapello County warrant for probation violation.
Jeramia Gillespie was arrested for eluding revocation.
A caller reported she parked in front of Revelations Café and went inside. When she exited the shop, the front and rear license plates were missing.
Timothy Wagner was arrested for public intoxication, third offense and subsequent.
A caller reported someone entered his vehicle parked outside Everybody’s and stole his Samsung tablet and two power cords.
Sarah Vaughn, 24, was arrested for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
A caller reported someone hit the barricades in front of the Fairfield High School and broke them.
Several calls came in about a downed powerline in the roadway sparking and throwing flames. Alliant Energy responded to the scene and fixed the problem.
Mason Simons was arrested for driving under suspension and not having insurance.
