The Fairfield Police Department reports the following calls and incidents logged at dispatch:
Jamie Eiler of Monroe County was arrested by the Fairfield Police Department on a warrant for identity theft. Eiler was taken into custody and jailed.
A caller advised that there was a large number of people yelling at him and his friend and accusing them of a fight that caller claims never occurred. Caller also advised officers that he was trying to avoid them. Another caller complained that there was a large group yelling. She said she couldn’t see any of them. Officers advised subjects that they were no longer allowed on the property.
A black alligator print wallet with $167 was found. Officers attempted to make contact with the owner of the wallet but were unable to do so.
A caller reported his white, 2003 Toyota Camry was broken into. The car was unlocked at the time of the break-in. The suspect opened the fuse box, rummaged through loose change, and stole subject’s prescription sunglasses. Officers have no witnesses, leads or suspects in this case.
An anonymous male advised that three or four groups of people were driving recklessly through a trailer park and fistfights were going on. Officers made contact with subject and he denied any physical altercation. Officers then made contact with his wife who confirmed his account. Parties were separated.
An accident occurred in a parking lot situated between North Court Street and East Broadway Avenue. Kenneth Zolo backed his 2008 Toyota Highlander into legally parked car. No injuries occurred, however, both vehicles sustained damages.
