Police say kids removed from home with meth
ELDRIDGE (AP) — Three children have been removed from a home in eastern Iowa where police say an active meth lab was found.
The Eldridge Police Department said Thursday that two men and a woman were arrested recently after officers found the meth lab. A search warrant for the home had been obtained following an investigation. Thirty-three-year-old Nolan Dufloth and 24-year-old Benjamin Meyers, both residents of the home, are charged with manufacturing methamphetamine with children present and three counts of child endangerment.
meth exposure. Twenty-seven-year-old Amber Dufloth, of Lost Nation, has been charged with possession of pseudoephedrine and three counts of child endangerment.
Court records do not list attorneys.
The children, ages 2, 7 and 10, are in the care of state officials.
