Fairfield Police Department received a report of a an aggravated assault/disturbance at 4:45 a.m. today in the 600 block of East Buchanan Avenue.
Police responded to a vehicle accident at Ninth Street and Broadway Avenue at 1:45 p.m. Saturday. A Fairfield resident driving a 2000 Toyota Camry was stopped at the yield sign on Broadway; a 1995 Chevrolet driven by another Fairfield resident was traveling south on Ninth Street and turned right onto Broadway and collided with the Camry. The Chevrolet had an estimated $100 in damages, the Camry had an estimated $3,000 in damages. No citations were issued.
8:45 a.m. caller reported vehicle broken into between midnight and 4 a.m., with items taken valued at $100.
9:16 a.m. caller reported unlocked vehicle parked in street was broken into two weeks previous and loose change taken. Same unlocked vehicle parked in street was broken into overnight and a wallet with ID and a debit card taken as well as change.
11:38 a.m. a wallet was taken from a locker at Roosevelt Community Recreation Center. It was later found and turned in, ID and cards still in wallet, $80 cash gone.
12:26 p.m. caller reported his storage unit broken into.
1:56 p.m. caller reported nudity at Waterworks Park. Police investigated. An independent filmmaker had secured a city permit to film and the park was closed to the public for the day. Nude suits were being used, police observed no nudity.
3:15 p.m. caller reported a missing iPhone 4, missing sometime between 5-8 p.m. Tuesday.
4:57 p.m. caller reported kids shooting a BB gun at garage. Police talked with kids, they were shooting air soft at a target, one missed and hit a garage. Nothing was broken. Police advised kids and mother shooting air soft in town is against the rules.
10:19 p.m. fireworks reported heard near downtown.
