Fairfield Police Department arrested Stacy Lynn Muntz, 38, of Farmington, and Kimberly Ann Barrows, 38, of Mount Sterling, at 6:02 p.m. Thursday at Walmart; each is charged with disorderly conduct.
Police report an accident at 3:11 p.m. Thursday at 32nd Street and Burlington Avenue. Joshua E. Burgason of Douds was driving a 2004 Harley Davidson motorcycle west, did not realize vehicle in front of him was stopped in traffic, until too late, when he swerved to avoid collision but struck the rear fender of a 2004 Chevrolet Silverado light truck, driven by Denny Wayne Archer of Ottumwa. The motorcycle fell over on its left side and skidded on the road. Burgason had scrapes on his forehead and left hand. The motorcycle has an estimated $7,000 in damages, the truck an estimated $500. No citations were issued.
1:47 a.m. caller reported talking and singing on other side of the fence.
3:41 a.m. caller reported yelling outside.
8:50 a.m. report of dog barking. Officer went to house, could hear dog barking inside house, but no one answered the door.
4:26 p.m. report of a storage unit not properly secured has items missing.
5:31 p.m. report of kids skateboarding in a parking lot, one skateboarder nearly hit by car. Officer unable to locate upon arrival.
5:45 p.m. 911 call about a fight at Walmart. Stacy Muntz and Kimberly Barrows got into a verbal altercation that turned physical. Per Walmart’s request, each woman was issued a No Trespass warning for Walmart.
