Fairfield Police Department arrested Thomas James Hahn, 21, of 900 N. Eighth St., at 2:25 a.m. today in the 600 block of West Monroe Avenue. He is charged with public consumption or intoxication, interference with official acts (police officer, emergency medical technician or firefighter) and possession of drug paraphernalia.
8:13 a.m. an abandoned bicycle was placed in police impound.
10:31 a.m. report of a scam/fraudulent phone call to resident regarding a loan application requesting private information. Caller had not applied for loan, did not give information.
10:40 a.m. Libertyville Bank reported a counterfeit bill.
2:49 p.m. caller reported loud music being played since 8 a.m. by construction crew.
4:02 p.m. house fire, fully engulfed, called in to 911; city and county units sent to assist.
6:03 p.m. caller reported lost or stolen key chain with pill box containing 44 prescription pills.
8:56 p.m. caller reported a disturbance of the peace.
9:27 p.m. a house-sitter reported hearing a high-pitched alarm sounding in basement, no smoke smell, was advised to go outside. The fire department responded, found a carbon monoxide detector ringing.
