Fairfield Police Department responded to a deer/vehicle accident at 5:10 p.m. Tuesday. A 2011 Chevrolet Malibu LS was traveling north on South Main Street and hit a deer in the road. The car had an estimated $1,700 in damages.
2:02 p.m. caller reported he’d lost a brown wallet.
6:56 p.m. caller reported a phone scam. A person with a foreign accent claimed to be calling from Microsoft and said resident’s computer had a virus and asked for credit card information to charge a $10 fee to fix computer. Resident did not provide information and hung up, but wanted police to be aware of call.
