Fairfield Police Department log for Thursday:

9:22 a.m.: An arrest warrant was served on Karen Tedrow, for credit card fraud and fifth-degree theft.

11:32 a.m.: caller found two large dogs along Burlington Avenue. Dogs were taken to veterinarian clinic.

3:02 p.m.: caller reported a suspicious, abandoned fuel/gas can in alley. Police found a partially full can and took it to the fire station.

7:38 p.m.: resident reported a phone message advising that Roger Peters was sorry, but he’d have to arrest the resident for being a nuisance. Police advised the phone number Peters called from was not a local phone number and no Roger Peters works at Jefferson County Law Enforcement Center; the call was likely a fraud.

8:48 p.m.: resident reported the theft of 2.5 bags of unshelled walnuts next to garage were taken. Left in place were multiple buckets of uncracked walnuts.

9:50 p.m.: a dead deer reported left in middle of road was removed.
