Fairfield Police Department arrested Christopher Nicholas Kenly, 25, of Fairfield, at 12:25 a.m. Monday in the 100 block of West Broadway Avenue. He is charged with public consumption or intoxication.

Tracy Ann Felkins, 36, of Fairfield, was arrested at 10:15 p.m. Sunday at home and charged with contempt of court, violation of restraining order.

Keith Kelly Lancaster, 37, of Fairfield, was arrested at 10:15 p.m. Sunday, and charged with contempt of court, violation of restraining order – aiding and abetting.

5:31 a.m. Washington County Sheriff reported a stolen vehicle Iowa license plate AIN 670, Mercury Mariner stolen from Riverside parking lot, vehicle was running and unlocked with blue-eyed Husky inside with no collar.

12:04 p.m. key was placed into lost and found; had note says it belongs to Clifford Williams, no phone number.

5:34 p.m. resident reported Anna Reinier, 27, punched her in face; Reinier was arrested for burglary.

Dispatch had six 911 misdials or hang ups with no emergency Sunday.

 

Monday

2:33 a.m. Clint Michael Buford, 34, was on Harrison Avenue, turning onto Third Street and slid into a parked vehicle. Police will contact owner to have information exchange.

9:18 a.m. citizen reports his 2000 Chevrolet Silverado was struck around 2 p.m. Sunday in the Hy-Vee parking lot. The damage is a scratch down driver’s side of truck bed he estimates at $500. No known suspects.

Dispatch had five 911 misdials or hang ups with no emergency Monday.

 

Tuesday

8:41 a.m. officer out assisting water department. Knocked on door several times, announced as police and advised entry would be gained if nobody came to door per search warrant obtained by Fairfield Water Department. No answer, entry forced through front door. Nobody at home and water was shut off and locked.

2:49 p.m. officer flagged down by teacher having problems with third-grade student not wanting to return inside. Staff member indicated student had taken off shoes and left building. Staff member followed him outside, child would not go back inside. Staff member saw patrol car and flagged down. Police took child inside building and met with his grandfather and released to grandfather.

2:55 p.m. citizen reports Dodge Grand Caravan hit while parked at doctor’s office, no one claiming to have hit it.

3:02 p.m. Brendan Simpson, 18, cited for careless driving.

3:18 p.m. a Lexus key found and turned into police.

6:59 p.m. Nathan Zenack was arrested for shoplifting at Fairfield Hy-Vee Food and Drug Store. He was charged with fifth-degree theft for eating dried fruit without payment.
