4:48 a.m. campus security personnel smelled smoke, investigated the wooded area on the north end of campus and found an active fire pit with no one around.
8:59 a.m. caller reported vandalism to mailbox.
10:44 a.m. Michelle Wiseman turned herself in at the Jefferson County Law Center on a warrant for failure to appear at a show cause hearing.
1:19 p.m. police impounded an abandoned bicycle and helmet left at University BP.
8:30 p.m. caller reported phone harassment.
9:56 p.m. caller reported phone harassment.
9:57 p.m. caller reported disorderly conduct.
7:51 a.m. Junior Cook, 30, was stopped for a cracked windshield; he was arrested for driving while suspended. After searching his person, he was charged with possession of more than 5 grams of methamphetamine, with intent to deliver; possession of marijuana; and no ignition interlock device.
8:17 a.m. caller reported a phone stolen from Red Rock Tavern the previous night.
12:04 p.m. complaint of dog barking for a couple of days.
12:52 p.m. report of dogs neglected.
4:27 p.m. a white male Shitzu was reported lost.
6:03 p.m. person found a checkbook, credit card, driver’s license and some change left on a table at farmers’ market, turned it in to police and it was returned to the owner.
7:47 p.m. complaint of loud boombox.
8:52 p.m. report of unsupervised children, ages 2-5 years, running around in street.
9:31 a.m. report of a possible Internet scam.
4:57 p.m. arrested Tami Kurtz, charged with fifth-degree theft and disorderly conduct.
5:09 p.m. a black and tan female hound mix dog found, no tags, friendly, taken to vet clinic.
6:27 p.m. Richard Cinggire arrested on a warrant.
7 p.m. Jason Throckmorton arrested on a warrant.
11:45 p.m. report of criminal mischief/vandalism; plastic mirror by rec center on Mhaharishi University of Managment campus broken, valued at $100.
