Fairfield Police Department reports the calls logged by dispatch Tuesday included:
10:17 a.m. investigation of burglary. Entry was gained in the rear, west entrance; it appears a pry bar was used and $8,500 in cash is missing.
12:29 p.m. two callers reported glass in road.
1:19 p.m. resident reports full glass storm door broken, possibly during the night; valued at $240.
3:07 p.m. miscellaneous complaint/service regarding a text.
5:34 p.m. keys found; turned in.
5:37 p.m. Mike Magee was arrested on a probation warrant.
6:55 p.m. two witnesses reported Bruce Brown was in back of apartments, intoxicated and trying to start a fight. Police advised the three males to leave each other alone for the night.
7:40 p.m. report of a red SUV took out a tree at Burger King and left, driving south on 12th Street. Multiple witnesses called in about a red SUV driving fast with tree in vehicle grill; police followed the trail of debris while receiving reports of sightings, last seen entering private, gated drive off Libertyville Road south of Jefferson County Park. Property owner has allowed Bruce Brown to camp out on property because he is homeless. Police found Brown passed out. He was taken to jail, arrested for operating while intoxicated, second offense, and failure to maintain control.
