Fairfield Police Department received a report of a 2007 Chevrolet Impala, legally parked near Verrill Hall on the University of Maharishi campus, struck in the middle of its back bumper. The other vehicle left a possible white paint transfer and broken tail lamp lenses at the scene.

1:02 a.m. barking dog complaint.

1:08 a.m. barking dog complaint, different location.

11:51 a.m. tornado watch in effect until 7 p.m. for area according to National Weather Center in Norman, Oklahoma.

2:09 p.m. National Weather Service in the Quad Cities issued a severe storm warning with possible one-inch hail and two inches of rain headed to area.

2:25 p.m. a severe thunderstorm warning issued.

4:22 p.m. several calls received about roads flooded.

4:39 p.m. a flooded road has bubbles rising from road cracks, caller wondering if it’s a gas leak.

5:07 p.m. report of a lost black and white dog with a black harness.

5:45 p.m. report of street and ditch flooded.

7:45 p.m. report of a street light down.

9:53 p.m. resident reported a sewer backup, fairly confident it is the main city line; dispatch will contact waste water facility.

Saturday

3:53 p.m. male puppy, golden retriever or lab with no collar found near car wash, taken to vet.

6:37 p.m. vandalism to yard reported.

7:54 p.m. caller said six-to-10 children playing in and out of street, causing cars to slam on brakes to avoid hitting anyone; officer located babysitter and advised to keep children out of street.

10:42 p.m. noise complaint on Liberty Drive; officer advised those at an adult party of noise.

11:36 p.m. deer/vehicle accident reported.

Friday

1:04 a.m. barking dog complaint.

9:30 a.m. burglary, break-in through screen door reported.

1:41 p.m. large branch blocking west lane.

2:01 p.m. Ashley Shuchman, 15, was arrested on a Wapello County warrant for probation violation.

3 p.m. caller reported a set of lost keys.

3:50 p.m. caller reported a lost watch.

4:05 p.m. a warrant was served on Gabrielle Dixon.

4:08 p.m. complaint of a barking dog.

5:08 p.m. served warrant on Darren Gordy.

6:12 p.m. found eye glasses in a black case turned in.

6:58 p.m. a Yorkie dog with no collar running loose.

8:07 p.m. Willie Pilkington, 28, arrested for disorderly conduct.

11:10 p.m. Mac Mills, 33, arrested for public intoxication, third or subsequent offense, enhanced.
