Fairfield Police Department reports the following calls and incidents were included in the log at dispatch:

 

Sunday

3:55 a.m. complaint of disturbing the peace.

9:48 a.m. caller reported a sink hole beginning in road. City Street Department notified.

10:33 a.m. caller reported a driver’s license, credit card and triple A card stolen from wallet.

12:22 p.m. complaint of loud music.

9 p.m. anonymous complaint of dog barking and being neglected. Officer spoke with dog owner.

11:49 p.m. complaint of disturbing the peace.

 

Saturday

12:43 a.m. Richard Alexander John Steele, 22, was arrested and charged with operating while intoxicated, first offense.

2:10 a.m. Matthew Thornton, 27, was arrested and charged with public intoxication, second offense; assault on a peace officer; assault on corrections officer; interference with official acts; and disorderly conduct.

9:32 a.m. report of a vehicle broken into Friday; taken items included a Dell computer, an iPod touch, a Texas Instruments calculator, a backpack headphone, an iPod adapter, a hat and a phone charger, valued at a total of $1,275.

11:45 a.m. report of blue and silver mountain bike stolen Tuesday night, valued at $100.

12:34 p.m. complaint of loud music.

4:10 p.m. report of black smoke from substation; wastewater crew will check it.

5:50 p.m. report of an electrical fire smell.

7:19 p.m. complaint of loud music.

9:43 p.m. complaint of disturbing the peace.

 

Friday

1:43 a.m. complaint of disturbance of the peace.

2:28 a.m. complaint of disturbance of the peace.

6:14 a.m. report of a vehicle broken into sometime between 9 p.m. Thursday and 6 a.m. Friday; an Asus computer laptop, Hewlett-Packard printer, and a fully loaded Cal Tec 9mm handgun were taken, a total value of $1,715 worth of items, from an unlocked Fairfield Ready Mix truck parked a residence.

9:32 a.m. phone scam reported.

10:45 a.m. green Schwinn bicycle placed in impound.

11:02 a.m. computer scam reported.

11:10 a.m. brown, female, mixed breed dog with no tag taken to vet clinic.

6:41 p.m. white and brown male puppy wearing a blue collar with no tag picked up.

8:40 p.m. lost wallet reported.

10:41 p.m. lost wallet reported.
