The Fairfield Police Department reports the following incidents logged into dispatch.

 

Thursday

4:58 p.m. – The Fairfield Park and Recreation Department reported a female black and brown terrier mix running loose and they didn’t want it to get hit by a car. They took the dog to the Veterinary Clinic PC.

6:40 p.m. – A pedestrian reported being struck by a vehicle. The driver also called the Jefferson County Law Center to report the incident and that the pedestrian left the scene.

6:51 p.m. – A citizen advised that someone dumped debris in the 900 block of West Hempstead Avenue.

9:44 p.m. – A citizen at Maharishi University of Management reported suspicious activity. Officers were unable to locate the vehicle.

11:20 p.m. – A pedestrian advised of a light post and telephone pole damage by a vehicle between Ninth Street and Burlington Avenue. Officers didn’t find anything at the scene to identify a subject.
