The Fairfield Police Department reports the following incidents logged into dispatch:
7:20 a.m. – A no-injury accident occurred on West Tyler Avenue. Kristen Daugherty said she was distracted while driving and ran off the roadway striking a mailbox. The vehicle and mailbox both sustained minor damages.
2:16 p.m. – Jamie Lynn Ethier, 27, was cited for driving while suspended.
3:38 p.m. – A 16-year-old male was arrested at Fairfield High School for possession of a controlled substance (marijuana) and for possession of drug paraphernalia.
3:50 p.m. – A traffic accident involving two vehicles occurred at 32nd Street and Business Highway 34.
10:24 p.m. – Lewis Edward Thomes, 20, was cited for speeding.
8:47 a.m. – A caller said he was flagged down by a woman jogging. She asked him to call the police, because a pit bull ran at her. The caller couldn’t provide a description of the woman. The incident occurred on North B Street.
12:05 p.m. – A no-injury accident occurred at Burlington Avenue and 12th Street. Matthew Williams failed to stop at a red light, causing an accident with Tarah Wiese. Wiese traveled south on 12th Street, while Williams traveled east on Burlington. Wiese’s vehicle sustained major damages. Williams was cited for failure to stop at a red light.
3:57 p.m. – Ronnie Hanen, 50, was arrested and charged with contempt of court. He was also charged with violation of a restraining order.
3:57 p.m. – Courtney Cary, 20, was arrested and charged with contempt of court, violation of a restraining order and aiding and abetting.
5:43 p.m. – Meagan Gelles was arrested for fourth-degree theft.
10:10 p.m. – Marquez Bane was cited for driving while suspended.
