The Fairfield Police Department reports the following incidents logged into dispatch:
3:46 p.m. – A hit-and-run occurred near Everybody’s Whole Foods. Beverly Sprague said a male driver with a dark beard in a white car rear-ended her vehicle. She told officers she felt her vehicle shake and there was minimal damage to her bumper.
4:43 a.m. – Rebecca Ann Grubbs, 42, was arrested and charged with domestic abuse assault.
9:45 a.m. – Harold Williams Daley, 62, was charged arrested and charged with public intoxication.
9:47 a.m. – A citizen advised that someone caused damages to his vehicle sometime during the night. He reported that there were several spots on the windshield, hood and door. There were also scratches on the front driver’s side of the vehicle.
10:22 p.m. – A citizen advised of suspicious activity at Taco Johns.
1:42 a.m. – Fairfield police were called to the scene of a structure fire at 104 S. Third St. The fire was extinguished prior to officers’ arrival.
12:41 p.m. – Pizza Hut advised that someone placed a large $108.59 order, but when Pizza Hut called back to verify the order, a female subject said that she did not place it. The total order included four pizzas and wings. Officers said there was nothing that they could do.
2:14 p.m. – A subject complained about a neighbor who had been throwing her personal belongings on the sidewalk and in-between trailers. The citizen said the subject also threw her underwear into the trees. Officers advised that the citizen contact management at the trailer court and try to start an eviction process.
