The Fairfield Police Department reports the following incidents logged into dispatch:

 

Friday

10:17 a.m. – Benene Lane was cited for violating a school bus stop sign.

12:58 p.m. – Randall Dodds was arrested on a warrant for violating probation.

3:50 p.m. – Police officers assisted the Fairfield Fire Department with a vehicle fire at 1301 Little Fawn Lane.

6:06 p.m. – A caller advised that a garbage truck struck a construction sign and debris went everywhere, and struck her vehicle. The caller told officers that she was no longer on the scene.

7:39 p.m. – A caller advised that a couple of people were skateboarding in the area and they kept bumping into the Americus Diamond building.

 

Saturday

10:44 p.m. – Brady Sheets, 40, was cited for violation of a restricted driver’s license.

11:08 a.m. – John Michael Showalter, 52, was arrested for disorderly conduct.

3:31 p.m. – An officer discovered hazardous road conditions at Dogwood Drive and Lone Oak Circle. Police dispatch notified the city shed of a hole in the road.

4:51 p.m. – Samuel Butitta, 59, of Fairfield, was arrested and charged with fifth-degree theft.

10:42 p.m. – A caller advised that someone pounded on her door and then took off when she went to answer it. The caller’s daughter claimed she thought she saw someone wearing dark clothing who ran away.
