The Fairfield Police Department reports the following incidents logged into dispatch:

Tuesday

7:45 a.m. – Kathy Williams, 65, was cited for failure to stop in an assured clear distance.

2:53 p.m. – The owner of My Lucky Day advised that a black male subject comes into the store several times per week. He went into the store Tuesday and when he left, the owners noticed that a camera was missing from the counter. He didn’t want to make a report, but he just wanted police aware of the incident.

4:10 p.m. – A citizen advised that she was house sitting, and when she returned to the location she found the door unlocked and the dog outside. She couldn’t tell whether anything was taken from the residence. The back door had been dead-bolted, but was open. An officer advised her to make the beds in case the subjects returned. They also put the toilet seats down. She plans to start checking the house at different times during the night with her boyfriend.

4:43 p.m. – A caller advised of what sounded to her like a domestic disturbance at her neighbor’s trailer. She advised that a subject kept peeking out of the window, and it sounded like someone was slamming things or someone around. She said she didn’t know if any weapons were involved. Officers arrived on the scene and found a small child running in the trailer. Everything was OK.
