The Fairfield Police Department reports the following incidents logged into dispatch:
9:48 p.m. – A vehicle drove up on a curb at Fourth Street and Broadway Avenue and struck a no-parking sign, knocking it down. Officers checked the area, but were unable to locate the vehicle.
1:36 a.m. – A caller advised that his girlfriend woke him up and started hitting herself in the face.
1:51 a.m. – A caller advised that her ex-boyfriend who no longer resides at her residence, broke into her house while she was not home. He did not have her permission to do this.
12:23 p.m. – A citizen advised of suspicious activity in the 500 block of West Adams Avenue.
4:01 p.m. – Rosa Harter, 55, was cited for having no insurance and for driving while suspended.
6:05 p.m. – A caller advised that he was unloading something with a uni-loader at True Value on Burlington Avenue, and he accidently struck the building. There were no injuries. The caller only wanted to make a report.
6:43 p.m. – A caller wanted to file a complaint about subjects who work across the street from his house who are playing loud music and turning around in his driveway. They are also throwing cigarette butts in his yard. The caller told officers that he has asked them several times not to use his driveway. He requested officers to go over and talk to the subjects about the situation. Officers were unable to locate the subjects.
