The Fairfield Police Department reports the following incidents logged into dispatch:
8:56 a.m. – Jet Stop on Burlington Avenue advised of a trespasser.
9:03 a.m. – Maharishi University of Management advised of a burglary.
9:42 a.m. – A citizen advised of fraud.
10:24 a.m. – A citizen advised of theft in the 300 block of 15th Street.
11:41 a.m. – The Fairfield Water Department advised of a theft.
2:05 p.m. – An accident occurred between Fourth Street and Burlington Avenue. Joshua Edgington told officers that he was heading south on Fourth Street before turning right onto Burlington Avenue. As he was turning, The dumpster he was hauling came off and slid into Joyce Mills’ van, which was facing east on Burlington Avenue at the intersection of Fourth Street. Names were exchanged and charges are pending.
2:45 p.m. Goodwill Store on Burlington Avenue advised of a burglary at the store.
3:11 p.m. – A citizen advised of fraud in the 600 block of East Fillmore Avenue.
4:03 p.m. – Fairfield High School advised of possible drug use.
5:50 p.m. – A citizen reported being harassed in the 900 block of North B Street.
9:48 p.m. – Officers assisted the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office with an accident in the 200 block of Glasgow Road.
10:40 p.m. – A caller advised that she heard an older woman scream around the 500 block of South E Street. The caller could not give a location or any further details about the incident. Officers were unable to locate anyone.
