The Fairfield Police Department reports the following incidents logged into dispatch:
8:45 a.m. – Timothy Ray Sargent, 52, of Central City was cited for expired registration.
9:50 a.m. – Officers are investing a sexual assault case in the 700 block of Liberty Drive.
12:08 p.m. – A citizen advised that a white Toyota Prius cut him off at Burger King on Burlington Avenue.
1:40 p.m. – A dog of unknown breed was taken to the Veterinary Clinic PC on Burlington Avenue.
3:15 p.m. – Officers spoke with a citizen who believed someone stole her identity. She said she spoke with the government loan service, and was advised to contact the police. Officers advised her to fill out an identity theft passport packet.
3:39 p.m. – A caller advised that someone was texting and driving. Officers located the subject and gave her a warning.
4:10 p.m. – Jamie Huffman, 38, was arrested on a warrant for violating probation.
6:06 p.m. – Police are investigating a credit card fraud case. A subject used a stolen card for Walmart purchases and at an automatic teller machine.
9:25 p.m. – Jesse Boyd, 27, was arrested for possession of methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia and for violating a protective order.
9:25 p.m. – Jaclyn Smith, 27, was arrested on a warrant for violating probation, and for aiding and abetting a protective order violation.
