The Fairfield Police Department reports the following incidents logged into dispatch:
12 a.m. – Officers cited an underage subject for possession of tobacco, third-offense.
12:43 a.m. – Officers assisted the Fairfield Fire Department with a brush fire in the 1200 block of Walton Road.
6:29 p.m. – A citizen advised of internet harassment.
8:39 p.m. – A citizen advised of a theft that occurred in the 800 block of East Burlington Avenue.
9:47 p.m. – A caller advised that her neighbor is harassing her.
1:14 a.m. – A caller advised of suspicious subjects walking around in the 900 block of West Hempstead Avenue. Officers were unable to locate the subjects.
8:52 a.m. – Melody Parrish, 52, of Fairfield was arrested on two warrants for ongoing criminal misconduct and second-degree theft.
10:39 a.m. – Officers responded to a no-injury collision at the intersection of Burlington Avenue and Ninth Street. Both vehicles sustained front-end damages.
12:38 p.m. – Stephanie Ann B. Flanagan, 41, was cited for excessive speed.
1:22 p.m. – Kevin Riley, 44, was cited for speeding.
1:40 p.m. – Officers addressed a civil dispute between a mother and her son in the 700 block of West Washington Avenue. The mother told officers that she and her son were fighting over a cell phone and $80 that he had taken from her bank account. She said her son hit her in the face several times. According to the report, officers didn’t see any signs of abuse. An officer retrieved the cell phone and returned it to the mother. The son said he would return the money.
3:49 p.m. – Maharishi University of Management security reported a car full of teenagers causing a disturbance on campus. M.U.M. security advised officers that they wanted the subjects trespassed from the campus. An officer notified the subjects.
6:31 p.m. – A citizen in the 900 block of East Jackson Avenue advised of identity theft.
11:03 p.m. – Landmark Inn on Main Street advised of a subject with mental issues.
12:13 a.m. – Police officers searched for a subject in the 200 block of East Briggs Avenue. The subject was wanted for narcotic violations.
