The Fairfield Police Department reports the following incidents logged into dispatch:

 

Tuesday

7:21 a.m. – Officers are investigating a forgery and narcotic violation in the 600 block of West Jackson Avenue.

10:30 a.m. – A citizen advised of harassment at Walmart on Burlington Avenue.

1:06 p.m. – Officers are investigating a theft case in which $300 was taken from Pizza Ranch on Burlington Avenue.

2:14 p.m. – A citizen advised of a burglary in the 800 block of Stone Avenue.

3:33 p.m. – A citizen advised of fraud occurring in the 1000 block of North Fourth Street.

11:53 p.m. – Matthew Williams, 26, of Fairfield was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and for tattooing without a license.

 

Wednesday

1:59 a.m. – Officers were called to the scene of a disturbance with loud music. They were unable to locate anyone.
