Fairfield Police Department arrested Nikhom Leo Sisomphane, 38, of 1104 Sunset Drive, at 2:20 p.m. Tuesday at Main Street and Madison Avenue for driving while revoked, excessive speed and violation of restricted driver’s license.
Bhavani Rose Hazel Walker, 24, of 1786 Highway 1, was arrested at 3:54 p.m. Monday on Pleasant Plain Road near Reservoir No. 2, also known as Pleasant Lake, for driving while suspended, revoked, canceled or denied and excessive speed.
The following information is Fairfield Police Department’s initial contacts summary received by dispatch for part of Saturday provided at the Jefferson County Law Enforcement Center.
2:45 p.m. Investigation theft: Citizen said her vehicle was taken by roommate. Complainant said male was staying with her for several days. She got up around 2 a.m. to use the bathroom and noticed male was not in apartment. She looked around, noticed keys to her 1995 Geo were missing. She looked outside, saw the vehicle missing, also. She said male had received a call from his sister in Florida, telling him she had a job lined up for him there. Complainant has made attempts to contact him, but he will not answer or phone is off. Policeman decided to wait until Sunday, to see if vehicle is returned. At 3:54 a.m. Saturday, another officer had observed the male subject driving the complainant’s car. He stopped and got gas at the same time and place as police. At the time, car had not been reported stolen. Investigating policeman has seen this male drive this car in the past, no reason to believe this was a stolen car.
4:19 p.m. Traffic violation: Seth Harris, 22, was cited for no valid driver’s license.
5:23 p.m. Disturbance: A subject was shooting a bow in back yard. Complainant said when arrow missed the straw bale it hit a garage. Advised bow shooter not to be shooting bow inside city limits.
6:50 p.m. Citizen contact about a vehicle passing traffic using the center turn lane; illegal passing.
7:16 p.m. Fairfield Water Department blocked street while working on a water main break at 806 W. Hempstead Ave. Police contacted water department personnel, nearly finished with West Hempstead and will go to 50 block of East Kirkwood Avenue for a break.
8:10 p.m. Adult probation contact for assistance in locating a juvenile, Hailey Lathrop. Lathrop located at 505 W. Broadway Ave., Missy Rambo’s (Missy Rock) residence; arrested and brought to law center. Released to her adopted father, Jack Lathrop.
9:25 p.m. Traffic violation, verbal warning for headlight out.
9:54 p.m. 911 misdial. Caller trying to dial 919 cell. All was OK.
10:28 p.m. Citizen contact about suspicious activity: six cars were sitting with lights flashing. Police found they were having trouble with their electricity.
11:36 p.m. Arrest warrant from other agency: Thomas Hahn, 20, arrested on Drug Task Force warrant.
