Fairfield Police Department investigated at George’s Pizza at 9:26 a.m. Saturday and arrested Diana Jean Haynes, 43, of 606 W, Jackson Ave., at 10:05 a.m. Saturday in the 50 block of West Broadway Ave., for public intoxication, enhanced.
Police investigated at 8:53 a.m. Saturday at Red Rock Tavern the report of a purse stolen between 1-1:30 a.m. Saturday there. The purse was later recovered but missing $20 cash, keys and credit cards.
Dillon James Fry, 18, of 2241 Glasgow Road, was arrested at Badget and B Street for fifth-degree theft from Maharishi University of Management, and possession of alcohol under legal age. Dakota Deeann Higdon, 17, of 1726 165th St., was arrested at Badget and B Street for fifth-degree theft and possession of alcohol under legal age. Higdon also was charged with open container. Fry also was in violation of the 02 violation and will lose his license for 60 days.
Megan Lee Swope, 19, of Agency, was arrested at Jefferson County jail, charged with operating under the influence, first offense, and underage possession of alcohol.
Police investigated at 11:49 a.m. Friday and arrested Amber Dawn Carr, 28, of 800 S. Ninth St., Apt. 2, at 11:57 a.m. Friday in the 100 block of South 12th Street, for driving while barred and failure to prove security against liability (non-accident related).
David Tanner, 69, of Fairfield, was arrested at Argiro Center, Maharishi University of Management at 9 a.m. Friday for trespass.
Fairfield Police Department responded to a traffic accident at 3:58 p.m. Thursday. Jeremy Conrad Carlsten, 19, of Exline was driving a 2005 Buick Century north on Second Street and a dog in his car got in his view and he did not see the traffic light. Contact was made with a 2006 Saturn driven by Victoria June Hunt, 65, of 2306 Walton Lake, driving east on Kirkwood Avenue. No injuries were reported. Each vehicle has an estimated $1,500 in damages.
