Fairfield Police Department arrested Allen Powell of 307 W. Washington Ave., at 12:58 a.m. today at 606 W. Monroe Ave., on a warrant for operating a vehicle without the owner’s consent.
John Krzesimowski, 42, was arrested at 12:16 a.m. today on a warrant for failure to complete treatment on an original charge of second degree theft. He was placed in jail.
Sachin Sunil Kapoor, 25, of Huntsville, Ala., was arrested at 10:22 p.m. Tuesday at Argiro Student Center, Maharishi University of Management, 1000 N. Fourth St., and charged with criminal trespassing.
Amber Jo Dye, 27, of 904 W. Harrison Ave., No. 16, was arrested at 9:29 p.m. Tuesday at Walmart, 2701 W. Burlington Ave., for criminal trespassing.
Benjamin Ferguson reported a theft at 6:39 p.m. Tuesday from his truck in the 900 block of West Grimes Avenue. Two chainsaws, an 18-inch McCullough and a 20-inch Poulan were taken, total estimated value of $300.
Kelly Michelle Freeman, 36, of Farmington, was arrested at 4:37 p.m. Tuesday in the Hy-Vee Food and Drug Store parking lot for operating while intoxicated, first offense; open container; driving while suspended, revoked or denied; expired registration; and no SR22 insurance on file as required.
After an investigation March 1, police arrested Seth Haney of Batavia Tuesday for recent vandalism of several mailboxes, garbage cans and a sign in Fairfield, a total estimated damages of more than $1,000. He is charged with second degree criminal mischief.
Police received a report at 4:02 p.m. Saturday of theft from the VFW.
