Reading program offered at FHS Library

The Fairfield High School Library invites high school students to read “books with bite” and win prizes in the Vampire Valentine’s Day reading program in February.

FHS students who check-out and read FHS Library books about vampires or other supernatural creatures between Monday and Feb. 13 may enter to win prizes including show tickets from Fairfield Arts & Convention Center; gift cards from ILA Restaurant, Revelations Café and Family Video; free classes from Open Space Studio; and free bowling from Flamingo Lanes.

The prize drawings will be at 1 p.m. Feb. 14 in the FHS Library.

The grand prize drawing for senior class members is a “dinner and a show” package including a $20 gift card from ILA and two tickets to “Comedian Tom Arnold” at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 16.

The grand prize drawing for freshman, sophomore and junior class members is a “dinner and a show” package including a $15 gift card from Revelations Café and two tickets to “The Hunts” at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 23.

The Vampire Valentine’s Day reading program is open to all enrolled FHS students.

For reading suggestions and program information, stop by the library/media center on the ground floor of FHS.
