Robert C. Barker
Robert C. Barker, 81, of Keosauqua, died at 1:20 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 3, 2016, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.
The funeral was this morning at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua, with Larry Shipley officiating. Burial was in Miller Chapel Cemetery, northeast of Keosauqua.
Visitation was Sunday afternoon at the funeral home.

Mr. Barker was born March 4, 1935, in Keosauqua, the son of Kenneth and Cecile Miller Barker. He married Sandra Lynn Lane Aug. 16, 1970, in the Little Brown Church in Nashua.
Mr. Barker grew up in Stockport and Keosauqua. He graduated from Stockport High School in 1955. He spent all of his adult life in Van Buren County on the farm.
Mr. Barker was a member of the NRA and an active member of the Miller Chapel Cemetery board. He enjoyed hunting and farming.
Mr. Barker also had served in the National Guard.
Survivors include: his wife of Keosauqua; one daughter, Christin “Christy” Ann Barker Wiley of Keosauqua; and two grandchildren, He was preceded in death by his parents.
