Fairfield’s seventh-grade volleyball team won a pair of matches and split two others in the season finale Thursday vs. rival Washington.

The ‘A’ contest won the opening match 21-6, 9-21, 15-9. Alie Kensett and Taylor Myers led the team from the net, while Ashley Pool and Kristen Daugherty dominated from behind the service line.

Peyton Manley’s six aces and Claire Christensen’s defensive effort helped Fairfield sweep the Demons 21-9, 21-4 in the ‘B’ game.

Madison Osborn had 11 good serves to lead the ‘C’ team to a 14-21, 21-14 split. Macy Holderbaum contributed with great defense.

The ‘D’ team split a 15-7, 11-15 contest. Maddie Smith came through with three ace serves and Anna Beasley led the team defensively.
