Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office responded to a vehicle accident at 7:15 a.m. Saturday. Angelo Grasso of Farmington was driving east on Glasgow Road onto Wintergreen Avenue, missed the curve, entered the south ditch and rolled several times. Grasso was ejected. Passenger Shelly Doughherty of Farmington was given a ride back to the home where they had both spent the night. Doughherty and Grasso were taken by private vehicle to Jefferson County Health Center. Grasso admitted driving the car and drinking prior to driving. He was cited for failure to maintain control and for no insurance, pending results from the lab on a urine test.
Dustin Leonard Day, 28, of South English, was arrested at 12:19 a.m. Saturday at Hemlock Avenue and Old Highway 34, charged with operating while intoxicated, first offense, and carrying weapons.
