Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office reports an OWI accident Tuesday, an OWI and marijuana possession arrest Sunday, and two deer/vehicle accidents Saturday.
Trent Edward McKinney, 27, was arrested at 11:28 p.m. Tuesday on Highway 1, just south of 241st Street, while driving a 2001 Acura TL. He was charged with operating while intoxicated, first offense, and failure to maintain control.
Sarah Elizabeth Wells, 21, of Stockport, was arrested at 2:55 a.m. Sunday at the Jefferson County Law Center, and charged for operating while intoxicated, first offense and possession of marijuana.
James Edwin Flynn was driving a 2003 Yamaha V-Star motorcycle east on Highway 34 when a deer entered the road near mile marker 212, causing him to lose control. He was transported to Jefferson County Health Center and treated for injuries. The motorcycle had an estimated $2,500 in damages.
Mary Ellen Reynolds of Fairfield was driving a 2001 Dodge Intrepid north on Pleasant Plain Road when she hit a deer just south of 167th Street. Damage to the vehicle were estimated at $2,000.
