The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office reported the following incident:
6:36 a.m. – Sheriff’s deputies responded to a no-injury accident at the 202 mile marker on Highway 34. Ryan Ballman was traveling west on Highway 34 when he rear-ended a farm tractor pulling a hayrack driven by James Humble. Ballman’s vehicle flipped on the driver’s side, and slid down the pavement approximately 200 to 300 feet, flipping back on all four wheels on the shoulder. Ballman was cited for failure to maintain control.
