Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office responded to a vehicle accident with a deer at 5:16 p.m. Thursday. Brian Herman Holthus was driving a 1994 Chrysler Concord south on Brookville Road when he struck a deer in the road around the 1800 block. His vehicle sustained functional damage to the bumper, front grill, headlight, radiator, hood and passenger door, estimated at $1,500.
Sheriffs received a report at 7:33 p.m. Thursday about a burglary/breaking and entering, with destruction/damage/vandalism to a residence in Lockridge, which happened between 8 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. Tuesday. An estimated $400 in damages was done to an entry door and jamb; taken from the premises — prescription drugs valued at $100; a 55-inch LED TV on a stand, valued at $1,200; a ventriloquist dummy missing its head, valued at $20; an antique, yellow and blue wooden music box valued at $50; a Mexican blanket valued at $5; a white wicker basket with handle valued at $10.
Conrad Duane Clark, 78, of Lockridge was arrested at 2:10 p.m. Thursday in Lockridge and charged with eluding a law enforcement vehicle (serious), interference with official acts, driving while suspended/revoked/canceled/or denied.
