Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office reports a deer accident: Willie Guy Pilkington of Lockridge was driving a 1995 Chevrolet Corsica south on Vetch Boulevard when he struck a deer in the road at 5:06 p.m. Monday about 1 mile north of 218th Boulevard. No known injuries at the time of the report.
