Siberian Virtuosi, the state ensemble of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) performed a classical program Oct. 29 in the Sondheim theater as part of the Chamber Music Spotlight Series. The evening’s program included music by composers like Bach, Tchaikovsky, Mozart, and more. Siberian Virtuosi is an Ensemble of 11 violinists and a pianist, which is gaining an increasing popularity in Russia and around the world. Founded in 1994 as the Virtuosi of Yakutia, the ensemble has given over 2,000 concerts during the last 22 years. The ensemble is known for its energy, unique arrangements, and level of virtuosity.
