The American Legion Auxiliary of Stockport’s Shower for Veterans ends Monday. Collection boxes are at Village Cafe and State Central Bank in Stockport.
Donated items will be delivered to the VA Hospital in Iowa City.

An Old-Tyme music jam is set from 1:30-4 p.m. Sunday in the Heritage Estates community room. The public is invited to bring instruments and play acoustical music or come and enjoy the fellowship and the music.

The Birmingham Lions will have a carry-in supper at 7 p.m. Monday at the Birmingham Lions Building.
The April committee is Randy Householder and Harry Anderson. Iowa State Patrol Officer Jason Marlow will give the program.
The RAGBRAI chairmen will have a meeting at 7 p.m. April 24 at the Birmingham Fire Station.
Any interested person is welcome to attend.
The Over 50 and Fabulous Red Hat Ladies recently met for lunch at the Pizza Ranch in Fairfield. Twenty-one were present. Barb Jamison won the door prize. Several told of April Fools jokes they had played on someone.
The hostesses were Lois Nicholson and Virginia Van Ness.
Forty-one children attended the Easter Egg hunt recently held in City Park.
After hunting eggs, a drawing was held, and each received a prize.
Dean and Sandy Bass were in charge.
A blood drive will be held 2:30-6:30 p.m. April 25 at the Birmingham Lions Building.
