The Kandy Kane House, stable and other set pieces are in place and that was the easy part of decorating Central Park for Christmas. The difficult task of lighting the trees was tackled this morning with the help of Mark Brown in the bucket at right. Brown donates company time and a boom truck every year to assist the parks department with hanging the lights, which isn’t much of a job on smaller trees. The large ones are a different story, requiring much maneuvering of the boom and bucket. At left in the second bucket is parks employee Jeff Giberson. The holiday lighting dedication ceremony is set to get under way, with Fairfield High School choir students singing carols, at 5:30 p.m. Friday in Central Park.
