Students of Month recognized
Each school month, the Fairfield Elks Lodge sponsors the Fairfield Middle School “Students of the Month” award to acknowledge positive contributions of FMS students at school.
These positive contributions range from assisting teachers and peers in classroom activities to displaying characteristics as a role model in and out of the classroom. The Students of the Month certificates are awarded after a nomination and voting process is completed by each grade-level teaching team.
Brecken Courtright has been selected as a fifth-grade Student of the Month for May. His certificate states: “Brecken is very respectful to adults and peers. He treats everyone with kindness. Brecken always strives to do the right thing. He can be depended on to get his work done well and on time. He is always willing to work with others and never complains. Brecken is a great example of Trojan PRIDE.”
Blair Grunwald is a fifth-grade Student of the Month for May. His certificate states: “Blair is always showing his Trojan PRIDE! He is a great friend to his classmates and is always willing to work with anyone. He helps out with anything and everything in class. He has been great this year on returning homework the next day and always getting his assignment journal signed.”
Lauren Kraemer is a fifth-grade Student of the Month for May. Her certificate states: “Lauren has worked exceptionally hard this year, putting in 110 percent at everything she does. She models Trojan PRIDE daily! She is a great influence and leader in our class. She is a friend to everyone in our class and grade. Her attitude is always positive and she always has a smile.”
Abby Schaefer is a fifth-grade Student of the Month for May. Her certificate states: “Abby is extremely organized and well prepared. She can always be counted on to get her work done on time and give her best effort. She is a quiet leader who leads by example. She has a strong determination to be the best she can be. Her positive attitude and work ethic will undoubtedly make her a very successful person.”
Shaden Thompson is a sixth-grade Student of the Month for May. His certificate states: “Shaden works extremely well with others and has a positive attitude towards learning and sharing each and every day. He chooses to do the right thing and is a great example of Trojan PRIDE through his actions and words. Shaden is an extremely hard-working student who strives to do his best at all times.”
Gracee Lisk is a sixth-grade Student of the Month for May. Her certificate states: “Gracee was selected as Student of the Month because she takes pride in her work and cares about doing a good job.Gracee shows Trojan PRIDE everyday. She is prepared for class, respectful of her classmates, and has a positive attitude towards her education!”
Kiersten Price is a seventh-grade Student of the Month. Her certificate states: “Kiersten has made so many positive improvements this year, both in and out of class. She’s been very responsible and takes care of any missing work right away. Her positive attitude will help her throughout school and life.”
Madison Osborne is an eighth-grade Student of the Month. Her certificate states she is a “motivated student with a drive for excellence. She uses her time wisely and efficiently during class to complete assignments. Madison is willing to ask questions or assistance for understanding or clarification. She participates in discussions and challenges herself to go above and beyond in the classroom and is a key member of the Robotics Club.Madison takes time to help others and is willing to take on a leadership role in group situations.”
Brayden Fishel is an eight-grade Student of the Month. His certificate states: “Brayden is a young man who has shown tremendous personal growth throughout his time in the middle school. He pushes himself to perform tasks to the very best of his ability. He has learned to work through frustration to complete assignments and to cooperate with his classmates. Brayden has been an active member of the Trojan Transducers robotics team and has worked consistently to be a positive leader on the team.”
