‘Super Sidekick: the Musical’ opens Friday for four shows

The award-winning professional theater company Two Roads Educational Arts and Theater will perform the award-winning “Super Sidekick: the Musical” at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday and at 2 and 7 p.m. Sunday at the Fairfield Arts & Convention Center.

The show, about an often forgotten sidekick to an arrogant superhero who must defeat an evil sorcerer and his ninja koala henchmen in order to save a princess and her kingdom, has been featured at theater festivals in New York and Hollywood.

Tickets for reserved seating are $12 for youth and $18 for adults.

Friday is “Hero Appreciation Night,” with a discount for law enforcement officials, nurses, military service members, emergency medical technicians and firefighters.

Saturday is “Educator Appreciation Night,” with a discount for all educators.
