Taylor sets poor example with profanity
To the editor:
I am compelled to call out State Sen. Rich Taylor on his use of profanity at the public forum given by the Chamber of Commerce Feb. 18 at the Fairfield Public Library.
I was highly offended by his use of words that would not be allowed while in session at the state house, yet he lost his temper and used them while high school kids were sitting across the table from him.
It was a very poor example to set before them and the rest of us. His lack of apology in his email to The Ledger after the meeting compounds his error in judgment in using profanity.
I want to commend Chamber president Detra Dettmann for her professional demeanor in handling the fracas.
