INDIANOLA — Fairfield split a 21-17, 18-21 match with the host Indians at Saturday’s JV volleyball tournament in Indianola.

The Trojans were then swept by 5A schools Marshalltown (14-21, 12-21), Urbandale (22-24, 15-21), and Ankeny (16-21, 13-21).

Seaira Drish served up eight aces along with 14 assists to lead the Trojans. Madison Roberts finished with 13 kills, five aces and 15 digs. Keri Schwarz had 12 kills, Paris Bickham blocked two shots, and both Karley Williams and Leah Browning tallied three aces. Erica Winslow fed the offense with 20 assists and Jolea Burkhart led on defense with 23 digs.
