IOWA CITY — The Radiologic Technology Program at the University of Iowa awarded Megan Countryman, a native of Fairfield, with a certification in radiologic technology at a commencement ceremony Friday in Iowa City.

MERCY COLLEGE

DES MOINES — Callie Millard of Agency has been named to the president’s list for the spring 2014 semester at Mercy College of Health Sciences in Des Moines.

To qualify for the president’s list, students must attain a grade point average of 3.75 or higher, in their most recent semester, for a minimum of six credit hours.

SAINT JOSEPH COLLEGE OF MAINE

STANDISH, Maine ­— Lori Kielkopf of Hedrick graduated from Saint Joseph’s College of Maine with a Master of Science in education.

NORTHERN ILLINOIS UNIVERSITY

DEKALB, Ill. — Katrina Jones of Fairfield has been recognized as a dean’s list student in the College of Visual and Performing Arts at Northern Illinois University.

The dean’s list is compiled by NIU’s academic colleges according to student grade point averages. Students must meet a minimum semester grade point average of 3.75 on a 4.0 to receive the distinction.

LUTHER COLLEGE

DECORAH — Alex Greiner, a Luther College senior from Fairfield, has been named to the 2014 spring semester dean’s list. To be named to the dean’s list, a student must earn a semester grade point average of 3.5 or better on a 4.0 scale and must complete at least 12 credit hours with 10 hours of conventional grades (A, B, C, D).

Greiner is the son of Michael and Michele Greiner.

MOUNT MERCY UNIVERSITY

CEDAR RAPIDS — Morgan Brokken of Lockridge was named to the spring 2014 dean’s list at Mount Mercy University.

Students with a semester grade point average of 3.60 or better, and who are graded for six or more semester hours, are eligible for inclusion on the dean’s list.

Brokken is studying finance.
