Vivian L. Douthart, 82, of Farmington and formerly of Bonaparte died at 2:45 a.m. Friday Aug. 29, 2014, at Donnellson Care Center.
In accordance with Mrs. Douthart’s wishes, the body has been cremated. Private family burial will be at a later date in Bonaparte Cemetery.
Pedrick Funeral Home, Keosauqua is assisting the family.
Mrs. Douthar was born Nov. 27, 1931, the daughter of Fred D. and Pearl L. Davis Chambers. She married Kenneth Lee Douthart Jan. 20, 1951, at Kahoka, Missouri.
Mrs. Douthar lived most of her life in Bonaparte and worked at Riverside Plastics in Bonaparte.
Survivors include: one son, Joe Douthart of Bonaparte; one daughter, Connie Douthart of Bonaparte; four grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and one brother, Bill Chambers of Bonaparte.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Virginia Taylor; two brothers, Glen and Fritz Chambers; and one granddaughter.
