Wastewater plant problem caused spill in Crow Creek

The Fairfield Wastewater Treatment Plant reported a bypass of untreated wastewater of approximately 10,000 gallons. The bypass occured at the plant when a control malfuction occured on the pumping system at 1:47 p.m on Nov. 11.
